The Information of Thomas Knight< no role >
an Evidence against James Bixby< no role > and
Thomas Joyce< no role > for Felony taken upon Oath
before me William Blackborow< no role > Esqr . One of
His Majesty's Justices of the Peace in &
for the said County this 21st. day of January
One thousand Seven hundred and Eighty Six

This Informant upon his Oath saith that he is a
Servant to Thomas Ford< no role > of Sharps Alley Cow Cross Street in
the Parish of Saint Sepulchre in the said County of Middlesex
That on Thursday last the Nineteenth day of January instant
at about the hour of Six of the Clock in the Evening this
Informant went into the Crown Public House the Corner
of Sharps Alley aforesaid that the Prisoner James Bixby< no role >
was in Company with the other Prisoner Thomas Joyce< no role > and
two Women that the said James Bixby< no role > asked this
Informant to Drink with them which he did and sat in
the Box with them that the said James Bixby< no role > then
asked this Informant if his Master could not be done
meaning could he not be Robbed and if he this Informant
would Assist that he should have his Share of the Money
that the Goods taken Should sell for That this Informant
agreed to go home and unfasten a Back Window of his Masters
House that they might get in without noise and that -
they might take away a Quantity of Cloth which was
in a Box in the said Room that this Informant Did
then go home and went up Stairs in Company with
his Masters Son about the Age of Ten Years that he
went to the Window under a pretence of making it fast
and instead thereof he pulled out a Skewer with
