Fault with him he threw the whole Coat in and then
took a Brush and Brushed the Wrist of the Coat and other
harts. That this Informant then observing the Coat

because so, when he Answered that he had been Fighting

That on Monday Morning the 27th day of June last the
said John Hogan< no role > took from under the Bed in their Room
a Silk Cloat and gave the same to this Informant and
told her then that he had bought it for her on the Saturday
last. Upon which she blamed the said John Hogan< no role > for
buying a Cloak when they were scarce of Money, he said
he had bought it and was to pay for it by Weekly payments

Southwark for the Sum of Ten Shillings and Six pence
about Twelve o Clock at noon on the said 27th. day of June

on Saturday the Second day of July last on suspicion of
having Murdered Ann Hunt< no role > Servant to Thomas
Orrell< no role > of Charlotte Street Portland Place on Sunday the
26th. day of June last this Informant [..] found herself
every unhappy and on the said John Hogans< no role > being
discharged and returning home she Questioned him as
to his being Guilty of the Murder and Robbery, which he
then positively denied. That this Informant being
Exceedingly Uneasy she repeatedly begged of the said John
Hogan< no role > to Confess to her if he was guilty of the Murder and
the said John Hogan< no role > being very Restless in the Nights and
Appearing in General Troubled in Mind about a month
after the said Murder was Committed being in Conversation
