The Information of Elizabeth Ough< no role > of
Gravel lane in the Parish of Christ Church
in the County of Surrey Widow taken
before me this 2d. day of January 1786 .

Who being upon Oath saith that she knows John
Hogan
< no role > This name instance is in set 2967. now a Prisoner under Sentence of Transportation
in his Majestys Prison of Newgate , that she hath [..] known
the said John Hogan< no role > for about Two Years last past
That she Cohabited with the said John Hogan< no role > as his
Wife for the space of Eighteen Months next before his being
committed to Newgate for the Offence with which he is
now Charged, That he has been in Newgate about
Nine weeks last past. That the said John Hogan< no role > was
with her at their Lodgings in or near the Borough Market
on Sunday the Twenty Sixth day of June last untill
about Two o Clock in the Afternoon Mat he then said
to this Informant that he would go out and take a
Walk that he Immediately went out and this
Informant laid herself down upon the Bed and Slept
untill near Five o Clock in the Evening when she was
Awoke by the said John Hogan< no role > . That this Informant
put some Water in a Saucepan upon the Fire to wash
a Shirt and the said John Hogan< no role > Immediately pulled
of his Surtout Coat and with the Bellows blowed the
Fire. That upon the Water being Boiled and poured
out into a Tub the said John Hogan< no role > said to this Informt.
I will wash the Arm of my Coat it is Greasy, this Informant
then desired him to let the Coat alone and she would
Wash it. And the said John Hogan< no role > then put the Arm of his
