Who being severally upon Oath say And first this
Informant William Butler< no role >
for himself saith that
about 9'o Clock on Tuesday Night last as he was Walking
up Clifford Street
on the Right hand side near to some
Stables he was Surrounded by three Men who forced him
up against the Wall where One of them Attempted to Rifle
his Pockets and Rob him when this Informant was very
much frightened made an alarm by calling out several
times Murder where upon some person appearing the three
Men left this Informant and ran away and this Informant
further saith That he verily believes the person now present
who calls himself James Brown< no role >
was One of the said three
Men but cannot say he has any recollection of the other
person now present who calls himself William Siney< no role >
And this Informant John Hoggins< no role >
for himself saith
that he lives at No. 13
in Saville Row
near Clifford Street
That about 9 o Clock on Tuesday Night last he heard
an Outery of Murder in Clifford Street
upon which he ran
to the place where the Cry poceeded from. when he saw a
person now present called James Brown< no role >
running very fast

where he was taken by another person &

for himself saith
that he lives at No. 15
Old Burlington Street
That on
Tuesday Night last about 9' o Clock he was at a friend's
House in Old Burlington Street he heard an Outery of Murder
