The Information of Margaret
Golding
< no role > taken before Us [..] two
of his Majesty's Justices of the
peace for the said County

Who being upon oath Saith That she lives at
the house of Andrew Butter< no role > at the Sign of the
Running House in Tottenham Court road
That on Sunday Morning last she went to the
house of the person now present who calls
himself Richard Harris< no role > at Dartmouth row
Dartmouth Street in the Parish of
Saint Margaret Westminster , that she
told the said Richard Harris< no role > she had come
to buy seven Shillings worth of his half pence
that the said Richard Harris accordingly
brought to this Informant ten shillings
worth of bad and counterfeit half pence
and delivered them to this Informant
for which this Informant paid him seven
Shillings in Silver and no more And this
Informant doth therefore upon her oath
charge the said Richard Harris< no role > with
feloniously selling paying and putting off
ten Shillings worth of Counterfeit copper
money to wit two hundred and forty pieces
of counterfeit copper money called half pence
at and for a lower rate and value than
the same by their denomination did import
and were counterfeit for

her
