The Information of John Cotton< no role > of
Charlotte Street near Bedford square in the
Hard County Esqr . Taken this 28th. day of
September 1784 before us two of his Majestys
Justices of the Peace in and for the said
County.

Who being on his Oath saith that on he in
Company with [..] Patrick Bigbie< no role > Esqr . and Richard Akerman< no role > This name instance is in set 4413.
Gentn., were coming from Blackwall in a Hackney
Coach between the hours of seven and Eight O Clock on
Saturday Evening last they were Stopped by Two
persons about the Middle of Salmons Lane leading
from Limehouse Church to Stepney who with
their Cutlasses presented to this Informant and the
other Gentlemen above named & at the same time
with horrid Threats demanded their Purses and
Money when Informant being apprehensive of some
dreadful Consequences Ensuing on his refusal and
being in fear delivered his purse Containing Two
Guineas and a half Crown to one of the said two
men who had a Crape Over his face. That a purse now
produced Containing two Guineas and a half Crown
and found in the Possession of a person now present and
who calls himself Henry Moore< no role > is the same purse and
as he verily believes the same Guineas and half Crown
forcibly taken from him as aforesaid,And this
Informant lastly Saith that he verily believes the said
Henry Moore< no role > and another Person now present who calls
himself Richard Dodd< no role > are the two persons who committed the
Felony & Robbery aforesaid
