The Information of George Bethell< no role > Taken
upon Oath before me Joseph Girdler< no role > Esqr . One of this
Majestys Justices of the peace in and for the said
County of middlesex this 9th. day of August 1784

This informant upon his Oath saith that he hath
great reason to believe that a Man who calls
himself Charles Hughes< no role > did feloniously take
and carry away from out of his Shop Situate in
St Martin le grand in the County of Middlesex
a pair of new Cotton Stockings the property of this
Said Informant to the same been seen in his
Custody
