Informations of Sarah Armstrong< no role > William
Didear
< no role > and John Colling< no role > bourn
taken this 31st. day of August 1784

Who being on their Oaths say and First the said Sarah
Armstrong
< no role > for hereself Saith that she lives at No. 66 in
Lambert Street Goodmans Feilds that this Evening there
were stolen from out of the yard belonging to the said
House Two Table Cloths that she [..] heard
come Person go along the Passage that she went out
and cryed Stop theif That in about a Quarter of an
Hour the person now present was brought to this
Informants House with the two Table Cloths now
produced which are the same that were so stolen out
of her Yard as aforesaid and are the property of one
William Sheppard< no role > . Intrusted with her to washs
The said William Dedearfromfor himself saith that he saw
thesaidsaid Person now present, [..] who
calls himself William Allen< no role > Maclachlan [..] between
Seven and Eight o' Clock this Evening come out
of the said Sarah Armstrongs House that on hearing
the said Sarah Armstrong< no role > Say that he has got
something and cry out Stop theif he this Informant
pursued the said William Allen< no role > Mac [..] Lachlan
into Rupert Street and there saw him drop a Bundle
and Run off, which Bundle he this Informant
Piched up and which appeared to be the Two
Table Cloths now produced.

The said John Colling< no role > bourn for himslf saith that
being in Buckle Street White Chapel at the time
aforesaidandhearing a Cry of Stop theif & [..] seeing
the said William Allen< no role > Machachlan running
along he this Informant Stopped him and took
him to the House of the said Sarah Armstrong< no role >
where his Person was particularized by the aforesaid
William Dedear.
