Who being upon Oath say, and first the said Richard

says that thirteen Yards and a half of Mulberry
coloured Saltin now produced in his property-And the said William

says that two persons now present who call themselves

on Wednesday
last about 3 o'Clock in the afternoon came into this

asked to see some black
Modes, but suspecting they meant to steal something
he called his MasterThat the said thirteen Yards and a half
of Mulbery coloured Salt in was lying upon the
Compter and he perceived the said Mary Potton
doubling up something in her Cloak on which he
searched for said Sattin and found that it was gone
That he immediately went round the Compter towards
said Mary Potton and Elizabeth Cunningham< no role >

that the said Mary Potton had dropped from under
her Cloak, on which he took it up and caused
