taken upon Oath before me one of
his Majesty's Justices of the Peace
in and for the said County this Fifteenth
Day of April one Thousand seven
hundred and eighty three;

Who saith that he this Informant or Monday
the Tenth day of March last enclosed in a Letter
directed to Messrs. Samuel & [..] Steffe Crisp Wangford
near Southwold Suffolk Seven Bank Notes
Value one hundred Pounds and amongst others
three Bank Notes of the Description and Value
following Vizt, One No 1152 dated 6th. March
1783 for Twenty Pounds, another No. K 245
dated 8th. Novr 1782 for Twenty Pounds and another
No. K. 210 dated 8th. March 1783 for Ten Pounds
That he this Informant Sealed the said Letter
and about the Hour of Eight o'Clock in the Evening
of the said tenth of March put the same with the
said Bank Notes therein enclosed into the General
Post Office London And this Informant further
saith that he hath carefully looked at and
examined the three Bank Notes now produced
one of them now appearing to be numbered 11152
dated the 6th. March 1783 for Twenty Pounds
another of them now appearing to be numbered
1245 dated 8th. Nov. 1782 for Twenty Pounds
and the third of them now appearing to be
numbered
