the Bank of England Gentleman taken upon Oath
before me One of This Majestys Justices of
the peace for the said County this
Fifteenth day of April 1783

Who saith that he hath carefully looked at and examined
the Bank Note now produced for £20 dated the 28th.
day of January 1783 payable to Messrs Walpole & Co.
and now appearing to Numbered 59 and saiththat the

S. W.{Number of the said Note is of this Informants Hand
Writing and that at the time it was issued from the
Bank of England it was Numbered 50 and not 59
& that & No. 50 is of this Informants Hand writing

first abovesaid before me}
