before when Hodges got up and let her in That Hodges asked" what, the
matter". This Informant Replied I want to go out to see after Mr CookThat
Hodges said" if you go after that Man (meaning Cook) I shall be obliged to
fly the County" That she asked Hodges to lend her a Bonnett who Refused
That she then disired Mrs. Hodges to give her the Key of the little Room to
get her Bonnett which she didThat she got her Bonnett from the Little
Room and went out. That she did not mention to Hodges or his Wife what
Morris had done. That she met a Woman of whom she enquired the way
to Phenix Street . That when she came to Mr. Nugent's in Phenix Street
she knocked him up, of whom she enquired where Captain Cook was, who
Replied in Tothill Fields Bridewell and who accompanied her there; That
she did not mention a Syllable to Mr. Nugent of what passed between
Morris and her nor did she say anything of it to Captain Cook or any other
person till that Evening when she mentioned it to Captain Cook in private.
That she was Ill all the afternoon and had fits and This Informant
further says that the said Thomas Morris< no role > Feloniously Ravished
and Carnally knew her against her Will and Consent.
