Bundles of Hempen Yarn in the Fields one of
which Bundles he this Informant carried home
to his House and on Coming out again he saw
two Men, that he laid hold of one of them who
appeared to be the aforesaid Mark Boyle< no role >
that the other Man Stopped with him until
Wm Smith< no role > came up to his Assistance and laid
hold of himwhichwho is the person now present
who says his Name is William Lane< no role > that
he this Informant and others took them to the
House of the said William Loe< no role > -and there
left them in the Custody of a Peace Officer
This InformantThomas William Loe< no role > for himself
on his Oath Saith that being called up as
aforesaid he searched the Warehouses of the
said John Perry< no role > and Joseph Hankey< no role > to whom
he is foreman to the Ropemakers that in one
of them he found the yarn had been Cut and
not in the Statue he left it the Day before
and he verily believes the Different parcels
of Yarn found in the fields are the property of
the said John Perry< no role > and Joseph Hankey< no role >
and Stolen from the said Warehouse in the
Night of Monday lastas aforesaid
