The Information of Horn Alexander Favier< no role > This name instance is in a workspace. and Henry
Samuel
< no role > taken on Oath before me one of his Majestys
Justices of the Peace for the County of Middlesex the
17th day of February 1783.

This Examinant Alexander Favier Saith That on Tuesday
Evening last about Seven O'Clock there was stolen from his
Appartments in the Dwelling house of Mrs. Turner No. 14 in Adam
and Eve Court Oxford Road in the Parish of Saint Mary le Bone
in the County of Middlesex one large leather Trunk Containing a Quantity
of Linnen Shirts, Stocks, Handkerchiefs, Stockings One Mans Thick< no role > set
Frock and Waistcoat, one White Dimity Waistcoat a Pair of
Black Velveret Breeches one Pair of Silk Stockings and sundry
other Articles his property And further Saith that, Five shirts
Nine Stocks Six pair thread Stockings, one pair of Worsted Do.
One pair of Silk Do. one Linnen Handkerchief one Pair of Lace
Ruffles, Two Night Caps, Two Knit Caps, One Silk Hatband< no role >
one Dimity Waistcoat, One Pair of Velveret Breeches< no role > one
Thick set Frock and Waistcoat now produced is part of the
things Contained in the leather Trunk so stolen from this
saidInformant as aforesaid

And this Informant Henry Samuel< no role > Saith That on Wednesday
last about three o'Clock in the afternoon as he was sitting at
dinner William Lacy< no role > now under Examination came into this
Informants house and looked about and said he was sure he was
right upon which Informant asked him what he wanted he said
it was about some Linnen that this Informant was to have met
about in the Morning and that if this Informant would deal
with him and use him wall he would bring him a Bag full
every Morning, but finding himself mistaken in the person he went out of
the house about his [..] Business, Presently afterwards the said
William Lacey< no role > came again to this Informants house and brought
with him Thomas Bryan< no role > now likewise under Examination
Bryan then having in a Bag the Cloaths and Articles as
above set forth and this Informant Suspecting the [..] property to have
been stolen sent for a Constable and caused them to be
apprehended.
