says
that on Wednesday the 31st.. of July last, he apprehended a
Person now present who calls himself James Copperthwaite< no role >
,
charged by Thomas Atwood< no role >
of Bean feet Buildings with
being a Cheat That a [..] he was bringing him to the Public
Office in Bow Street
, he observed said James Copperthwaite
take a piece of [..] his WatchPocket and conceal
it in the left Cur [..] And the said John
Ramsden< no role >
[..] Public Office in Bow
Street
on the said Wednesday when said James Copperthwaite
was brought in by [..]

, and hearing that
he had concealed a paper as before stated, he searched
him and in his said Coat Heeve found the Bill Exchange
now produced and drawn by Wm.. Morgan< no role >
of Bristol
for £15..15..0; and the other Papers now produced he
found in the said Copperthwaite's pockets.
