until it was Dark for want of a Man to kill them
at last however she applied to [..] a Man whose name is York
and who lives in Angel Gardens Shadwell . who under took to come kill one of the said Cows [..] that he accordingly who came the
same night [..] house that night
and Killed,oneit [..] and in the Morning have [..] said York took One Quarter to his
Mistress's house and the other three Quarters was sent by
Mr. Kennelys Apprentice and in Mr. Kennelys Cart to Mr.
Hunt Salesman in Leadenhall Market . Saith that with
respect to the Calf he verily believes Mr. Kennelys Apprentice
Skinned it & Sold the SkinSaith that on the same day he
in Company with another Lad Carried the said Hide to
the above named Mr Hunts. who paid Informant for the
same but how much he cannot recollect at present

Saith that on the Monday following Mr Kennedys
Apprentice and Informantanddrove the other law to
Mr Kennelys Slaughter house at which place it
was Killed by the said York. and [..] disposed of in
the sam Manner as the first mentioned Cow. And that
the Calf of this Cow was likewise Skinned by Mr.
Kennedys Apprentice but how disposed of he cannot
tell.

Saith that to the best of his remembrance about
Three Weeks ago A Cow was Brought to his a Mistress's but
by whom he cannot tell. but which he believes was
disposed of in the same Manner as the other two

And this Informant further [..] Saith That yesterday
after dinner his Mistress said to him Come Bill. I
believe we must go and fetch this Cow of Ives's home
for we shall have no Beef this Week else. That informant
& his Mistress accordingly went to Poplar. & down Harrow
Lane into a Field amongst a Parcel of Cows and
drove one into a Pound in the said Field. But as they
could not left the Gale off the Hinges they were obliged
