a Mr: Scott and That he gave for the same Eight
Shillings for each piece And this Informant
Saith That the said Three large posts of Mahogany
are his property and he verily believes They were
Stolen from his House by the said Saml: Tibbey< no role >
That they are of the Value of Two Pounds Eight
Shillings and upwards and he verily believes the said
Stephen Thompson< no role > must have Supposed the said
Mahogany to have been Stolen at the time he so
bought the same

And this Informant Henry Elliott< no role >
for himselfThatSaith That on Tuesday Morning
last About the hour of 8 o.Clock he saw the above
named Saml. Tibbey< no role > at an Ale house in Manmouth
Street Saint Giles in the fields and saw him bring from
the said Alehouse a Large post of Mahogany which
this Informant well knew to be the Property of the
above named Robert Rawlins< no role > and that having
suspicion That the said Samuel Tibbey< no role > had stolen
the same from the said Mr: Rawlins he followed
him as far as Market Lane where this Informant
suspected he had carried to some House there and
therefore this Informant a acquainted the said Mr.
Rawlins of the same and last Night the said Mr.
Rawlins and this Informant went to the House of
the abovenamed Stephen Thompson< no role > and there they
found the Mahogany abovementioned and upon a string
the said Stephen Thompson< no role > how he came by the said
Mahogany he said bought the same of a Man
who formerly worked for a Mr. Scott and that he
