The Information of John Clark< no role > and Thomas Carpmeal< no role > This name instance is in set 2429. This set is in the group(s): BowStreetOfficers .
taken before me this 11 [..] day of September 1781

Who being upon Oath says and First the said John Clark< no role >
For himself says that on Friday the 31st.. day of August last in Consequence
of [..] an Information respecting the Coining of Half pence he went to the
House of William Storer< no role > in Kings head Court Saint Martin le Grand
that on knocking at the Door, a Person now present who calls
herself Mary Storer< no role > opened the same - That in the Collar of said
House he found a cutting out Press, a Quantity of Copper Blanks
and some Cezil - That in the Collar adjourning he found a large
Press, the Dies Fixed, and a Quantity of other Dies - That on coming
up Stairs, he Searched the said Mary Storer< no role > and Found in her Pocket
a Counterfeit Half Penny now produced - and in a Closetof the said
in the Parlour of the said House where the said Mary Storer< no role > was
he found five Blank Dies now Produced - And the said Thomas Carpmeal< no role > This name instance is in set 2429. This set is in the group(s): BowStreetOfficers .
for himself Says that he went with the said John Clark< no role > to the saidJohn
William Storers house and after being there about half an hour a person
now present who calls himself Thomas Oren [..] knocked at the Door
on which he let him in, that he then searched him and found in his
Coat Pocket two punches for Striking Dies now Produced - That he asked
said Orine what his Name was, who answered that his Name was
Jones and that he was a Silversmith by Trade - That about half
an hour afterwards [..] the said William Storer< no role > knocked at the Door
on Which the said Mary Storer< no role > (having seen him thro' the Window) instantly
