The Information of Robert Hussey< no role > of
Russell Court Linen Draper taken before
me this 27th. day of September 1781.

Who being on Oath says that this afternoon two Persons
now present who call themselves Mary Potton and Mary
Grace
< no role > , came into his Shop together - That the said Mary
Grace
< no role > desired to took at some Handkerchiefs which this
Informant Shewed her - that during the time said Grace
was looking at the Handkerchiefs, this Informant observed
said Mary Potten< no role > privately take two Pices, of Handker-
chiefs now produced and put them into her Pocket, after
Which this Informant observed her wink with her eye
to said Mary Grace< no role > That afterwards said Mary Grace< no role >
bought a Linen Handkerchief and then said to said Mary
Potton "You may go, or go Home, and I will come to you"
That upon this, said Mary Potton< no role > was going away, when
this Informant stopped her, brought her back and found
the two Pieces of Handkerchiefs now produced in her
Pocket; and further says he doth verily believe that
said Mary Grace< no role > aided assisted and abitted the said Mary
Potton
< no role > in committing the said felony.
