Ludgate Hill Labourer taken before me
this 9th.. day of January 1781

Who being upon Oath says that he was last
Night in Company with a person now present who calls herself
Sarah Gilby and two other Women whom he doth not know
in the Strand -That one of said two Women asked him for
three pence on which he took out some Halfpence from
his pocket amongst which was a Guinea when the said
Sarah Gilby< no role > immediately Snatched the said Guinea
out of his hand
