Who being upon Oath saith that to
the best of her knowledge and belief it was on Wednesday Evening
last the first Instant [..] That three persons now present who
call themselves John Smith< no role >
Samuel Smith< no role >
and John
Langford< no role >
come into the house of John Wilson< no role >
the Bulls
head in Peter Street Westminster
and brought with them
Six Pound of Fresh Butter which Butter Elizabeth Wilson< no role >
Wife
of the above John Wilson< no role >
bought of the said John
Smith< no role >
and Samuel Smith< no role >
and paid them one Shilling
and Eight pence for the same, that she this Informant heard
one of the abovementioned persons say, That the said
Butter came out of a Shop in Stratton Ground and
this Informant is very sure the said Elizabeth Wilson< no role >
knew when she bought the said Butter that it was Stolen
out of the Shop as before mentionedThat on Saturday
Night last was 7 Week this Informant saw a person now present
who callsthemselveshimself Charles Collis< no role >
give a
Picklock Key to Samuel Smith< no role >
and told him, as he
was going upon the Lay, that Key Would be of
Service to himThat the same Evening the above said

came into the house
of the said Elizabeth Wilson< no role >
, where this Informant was
and brought in with them, a Dimothy Petticoat, a Large
Diaper Table Cloth a Shift, Two Pillow Cases, five Pair of
Womens Sleeves and an odd white Stocking all wet
and said they had got them out of a Copper in a
house [..] in Surry and when they brought them in
they were hot, that then the said Smith and Langford
desired the said Elizabeth Wilson< no role >
to buy the abovementioned
Linen of them, which she immediately did and paid
them Eight Shillings for the same that as this
Informant verily believes on Friday Night last the 3rd.
Instant in the Afternoon, the said Elizabeth Wilson< no role >
desired
this Informant to go and Pawn the abovementioned
