The Information of Francis Gains< no role >
Thomas Doley< no role > and Dennis Mc Donald< no role >
taken before Us two of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the said [..]
County City and Liberty

Who being severally upon Oath say and first this Informt.
Francis Gains< no role > for himself saith that is [..] Servant to
the Honourable Charles Fitzroy Scudamore< no role > in Albermarle
Street four Doors for Stetford Street that on Saturday
Night the 4th. of March last this Informant about one
o Clock went to Bed having first & examined & seen
that all the Doors and Window were fastened below
Stairs and likewise saw that the Closet and the Chest in which the
Plate is Munelly kept were locked and the Plate therein
that about Six or seven o Clock on Sunday Morning the
other Informant Thomas Doley< no role > came to this Informant
and told him that the House had been Broke Open and
the Plate was all gone upon which he went down & upon
examination found the Area Door into the Street wide
Open and likewise that the Passage Door from the Area into
the House had been Broke Open and likewise all the other
Door & Places below leading to the Pantry & Closet wherein
the Plate was kept & also found that the sd Closet Door had
been unlocked & was open & that the Plate Chest which
this Informant saw then the over Night was Carried away
together withell the Plate therein consisting of two pair
of Silver Candlesticks 15 Tea Spoons one Coffee Pot
10 Salts & 10 Shovels Six Castow & 4 Tope one Cruet
Frame 1 Marrow Spoon light Saws Books 1 Pr of Smistars
& Stand four Scollopd Dishes one Gilt Ever & one Gilt Silver
four Waters one punch Ladle three Musterd Spoons
6 Lables for Bottels one Paringer one half wint Mug
1 pair of Sugar Tongs Eight Silver Table Spoons and
Two Silver Tops Tea Tongs & poker together with Twelveand upon searching
wrought Tea spoons of which this Informant believes to be of French Plate & upon seanty
further this Informant found the said Chest in the Coal
