Celler Broke open and Empty & upon further Inspection
this Informant found that Four Dozen of Silver Hested
Knives 11 Silver pronged Forks 33. Silver Hested Forks
35 Silver Table Spoons and four Silver Tea Spoons
which were in the Plate Closet but not locked up in the said
Chest were also taken & Carried away but by whom this
Informant cannot say

And this Informant Thomas Doley< no role > for himself saith
that he is Servant [..] to the Honble. Charles Fitzroy
Scudamore< no role > that upon Sunday the 5th. of March last
about half hour past Six o Clock he came down Stairs
& found the Pantry Door wide open & upon looking further
he saw plainly that the House had been Broke Open
when being greatly frightened he Immediately alarmed
the whole House and Particularly the other Informant
Francis Gains< no role > who came down & was accompanied by
this Informant in Searching in 10 the Slate of the
premise which were found to have been Broke open &
entered in the manner above described & the Plate Chest
& other things taken & carried away at the time & in the
manner above related but by whom this Informant
cannot tell

And this Informant Dennis Mc Donald< no role > for himself
saith that he is an Head borough that upon examining
the House of Mr. Fitzroy Scudamore he observed that
the Pantry Door had been Broke open that the Lock there
had been un screwed with a Screw Driver or some such
like Instrument and that the same had been Slightly
put on again upon the said Door that the Screw was
produced is one of the Screws with which the said Lock
had been screwed on and which Screw this Informant
took out from the said Lock at the time he Examined
the said House as aforesaid and this Informant further
saith that upon searching the Lodgings of the Person
now present who calls himself Edward Jones< no role > otherwise
Resell among other Tools & Instruments he found
a Screw driver now produced of a particular foun
