is a Servant to Mr. Careless Pawnbroker in Fox Court
Gray's Inn Lane
that he knows the person now present
who calls himself Thomas Gregory< no role >
that upon the Sixth
day of January last the said Thomas Gregory< no role >
came to
his Master's shop and pawned [..] a Five Guinea
Pieces for Five pound one Shilling and three pence
upon the other Informant Joseph Faikneys enquiriy
this Informant produced the said Five Guinea Piece
which Mr: Faikney Immediately redeemed and paid
Five Pounds one Shilling and three Pence for the same
And this Informant William Merle< no role >
for himself saith
that he is an Apprentice
to Mr Cox refiner in Little Britain
that about the latter End of January or begining of February
last in the Dusk of the Evening a Person came into his
Masters Shop and there Sold a Piece of Gold Coin
called a Five Guinea Piece For Melling for which the
Sum of Five Pounds three Shillings was paid that
from the Size and appearance of the person now present
who calls himself Thomas Gregory< no role >
this Informant
believes that the said Thomas Gregory< no role >
was the person
who came into his Master's Shop and Sold the said
Five Guinea Piece as aforesaid
