Second day of October in the Twelfth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George
the Third now King of Great Britain Etc. with force and Arms Feloniously without any
Lawfull Cause was at large within this Kingdom of Great Britain (to wit) at the parish
of Saint Margaret Westminster
in the County aforesaid before the Expiration of the said
Term of Seven Years for which he was Ordered to be Transported as aforesaid against the peace
of our said Lord the King his Crown and Dignity and also against the form of the Statute
in that Case made and provided Wherefore the Sheriff of the County aforesaid is
Commanded not to Omit for any Liberty in his Bailiwick but take the said William
Booth to answer the premisses Which said Indictment the said Justices of the peace

upon him as above being asked in what manner he would be Acquitted there of the
said William Booth saith that he is Not Guilty thereof and concerning this for good
and ill he putteth upon the Country Therefore let the Jury thereupon immediately
come before the said Justices of our said Lord the King last abovenamed and other
their fellows Justices aforesaid here and who are of no Affinity to the said William Booth
to Recognize upon their Oath whether the said William Booth is Guilty of the Felony
