a Fin Flour Box containing a quantity of the
Clippings of Copper a paper with powder same Vials
with Liquor but of what kind this Informant doth
not know And this Informant further saith that
he likewise found concealed in the Apartment of the
said Wiliam Spedding< no role > and Ann< no role > his Wife the
Steel Dye or Puncheon now produced with an Impressing
She head Engraved thereon which Dye or Puncheon
this Informant verily believes is for the Use and
purpose of Counterfeiting the Current Coin of this
Reason called a Six pence & this Informant
further saith that upon Searching the said William
Spedding he found upon him the two Bad Counterfeit
Scissars and a Bit of paper with writing Importing to
be an Enquirg from the said William Spedding
what had been done with the two Duplicates that
where in the White Mag where the Clippings was
and this Informant also saith that he found a
small Wooden Box containing some White Powder
now produced in the Pocket of the said William Spedding
and that upon his Discovering the said Box the
said William Spedding shared a great deal of Concern
and Maiety at the Discovery & endeavoured to
knock it out of this Informants hands saying it
was only a little Salt and afterwards & begged very
hard of this Informant to throw it away that it might
not appear against him for that he did not known
which hole to creep out of Man as he thought it was
all over with him
And this Informant Charles Jealons< no role > for
himself saith that he is an Headborough that
he accompanied the other Informant Patrick
Devine
< no role > in searching the Lodgings of William
and Ann Spedding as aforesaid and was present
and Assisting when the several Utensils Table
steel Dye or Puncheon and other things abovementd
by the said Patrick Devine were found therein
And this Informant Jane Houghton for
herself saith that she lives at No. 2 in Wells
Mews Wells Street St. Mary Le Bone that
