The Information of Christopher
Smith

Thomas Rogeral< no role > Christopher Langston< no role >
taken before one of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the said
County City and Liberty

Who being severally upon Oath say and first
this Informant Christopher Smith< no role > for himself
saith that he keep the sign of the paviors and
in Wardour Street Saint and So he that between
Eleven & twelve oClock last night he went to
Bed when the fastening of his Housewere all
made secure and his Cellar Door next the Street
double locked that is less than two House he
were alaimed by the other Informant Hugh,
Fleming that his Cellar Door was broke open
upon which he Immediately got up & [..]
went down into his Cellar where he found the
two persons now present who call themselves
Fabins Lewis and Lewis Lequint< no role > his Cellar
Door broke open & the Box of the Lock wrenched
off
and this Informant Hugh Fleming< no role > for
himself saith that how a Watchman in
Wardour Street that between one & two o'Clock
last night he discovered the Cellar Door of
the House of the other Informant Christopher
Smith
< no role > broke open and alarmed the said
Christopher that upon his first discovery of
the Cellar Door being broke open and before the
alarmed the said Mr. Smith one of the two
persons now present who call themselves Fabric
Lewis & Lewis< no role > Lequint attempted to get out
of the Cellar upon which this Informant made
able at him with his staff where treated back
& this Informant head something fall from him
and the said Lewis & Lewis Seguint were
apprehended in the said Cellar
