And for half the time Informant thought the Black [..]
the Best of itSaith he did not go near them during
the timeThat Mr. Jackson towards the latter part
Jacksonthought Davis had the best of it And he Desired
Davis not to Fight any moreAnd Then there was
a stop for a Minute or Two That they had been both
Down together and the Black beginning to grow Weak the
Serjeant Pickd' him up and Drew him from Davis
That whilst the Serjeant was wiping the Black they
talked something together but spoke Low that
Informant did not hear what was said
During this time Davis Called several times to the
Black and Asked him if he had enough
That he did not hear the Black give any Answer
But at last somebody said (Informant thinks the
Serjeant) that the Black would have another Knock

That then they went to it again and some afterwards
Fell both togetherThat when the Black got up
he turnd' like away from Daviswithand Davis as he
was standing rather behind him gave him a Blow
