for the said County Who severally being upon Oath
Say And frist this Informant
George Clark< no role >
saith that about
the Latter End of November last he left a Box locked up in
the House of Mr. Price at the Sign of the Grey hound at Rumford
in the County of Essex
containing a great Quantity of Silk &
Thread Lace a Number of Silk Handkerchief and other
Haberdashery Goods
of the Value of One hundred & Seventy
Pounds And further saith that Twenty three Yards of Black
Thread Lace Sixteen Yards of White Thread Lace & Thirty
Two Yards of Black Silk Lace One Pair of Lace Ruffles
One Pair of Worked Ruffles One Black Silk Cloak and
Two Pair of Women's Worked Muslin Ruffles all now produced are the
Property of this Informant and are a Part of the Goods
Which were left by him in the said Box as abovementioned
And this Informant further Saith that in Christmas Week
he Went to Mr. Price's at the Greyhound at Rumford in Order
to fetch the said Box away And upon Opening the Box found
that there had been Goods taken out of the said Box to the
Amount or Value of One hundred and fifty Pounds Upon which
he asked Mr. Price the Land lord whether he knew who it was
that had robbed him & he told him that a Strange Man
