taken before Us two of his Majestys
Justices of the Peace for the said
County City & Liberty

Who severally being upon Oath say And first
this Informant Ann Hawkins< no role > for herself saith
that she is the Servt. to Samuel Barrington< no role >
in March last he being out of Town left this
Informant in Charge of his House situate
in Welbeck Street St Mary Le Bone in the
County of Middlesex and upon the 18th. Day of
the same Month about a Quarter past Six
in the Evening this Informant went out & double
Locked the Street Door after he having first
secured & fastened all the Windows & other parts
of the said House that she returned very seen
after eight o Clock & found the Street Door
Shut but only upon the Single Lock. thatupon
in coming home she was informed by a Neighbour
that the Street Door of her Master House had
been seen Open some little time before, that when
she got in she light a Candle & examined whether
any thing was Missing and found that there had
been Stolen out of the Back Garret a Feather
Bed Rolster three Blankets One pillow on
Callico Bed Quilt a Linen Handkerchief a Shift
several Shift Sleeves a New Muslin Apron & a
Black Silk Bannet and out of her Master's
Bed Chamber in the two pair Stairs back Room
she Missed a Silver Hilted Sword two pair of
Holland Streets two Pillow Cases & One
other Callico Bed Quilt this Informant is
certain that the several things abovementd
were all in the respective Rooms described
at the time this Informant went out & that
they were all taken & Carried away before her
return And this Informant further saith
