Middlesex To wit

The Information of Sophia Goddard< no role > and
Charles Iliffe< no role > taken before me this 8th
day of May 1772

Who being upon Oath say and first the said Charles Iliffe< no role >
for himself says that as he was driving his Masters Chariot
from Hampstead to London Thursday last was Sevenight Stopt between Fig Lane
and the Half way house by Several Footpads, one of whom
told him if he did not Stop he would shoot him or Words
to that Effect, And the said Sophia Goddard< no role > for herself says
that as soon as the said Chariot was Stopt as aforesaid
one of the Persons demanded her Money that she garce
him her Purse containing four Pieces of Swish Money
a Medal of Queen Carolina and Several Shillings;
