Informant Then agreed to give him a five Shilligs
& three Pence Upon Which the Said Person
who or Name this Informant now finds to be
Samuel Noah< no role > did Accept the Said Bill,
So drawn upon Joseph Harris< no role > in the Name of
the Said Joseph Harris< no role > by Writing upon the
Said Bill in the Presence of this and of the,
other Informant the following Words
Accepted. Jos: Harris< no role > and then delivered
the Said Bill so falsly accepted to this Informant
with an Intent to Defraud him of the said
Sum of twenty Nine pounds this Informant
went several times after the Said Bill was so
Accepted to the Said House at No.2 in ayliss
Street Goodmans Fields . but always received
for Answer that he was not at home. this
Informant. The Next day after the Bill was
Acceptedaccidentally met in the Street the
Person who had accepted his Bill as aforesaid
in the Name of Joseph Harris< no role > when tapping
him on the Shoulder & speaking to him about
the Payment of the Bill was Immediately
Informed by a Person therein this Informants
Company that the Man he was then addressing
himself to was not Joseph Harris< no role > for that he
Knew himself & that his Name was Samuel
Noah< no role > & that he knew a Commission Bankrupt
was Issued against him at this time by the
Name of Samuel Noah< no role > this Informant further
Saith that the Person now Present & who
Calls himself Samuel Noah< no role > is the Person
who Accepted and Uttered the Bill of Exchange
as aforesaid in the Name of Joseph Harris< no role >
and this Informant Zachariah Bird< no role > for himself saith
that he was present at the same &
Place is him the said Samuel
Noah< no role > wrote the Acceptance upon the,
Bill of Exchange to the other Informt
for the Sum of twenty nine Pounds
in the Name of Jos. Harris< no role >
