All the timeThat whilst he was so Standing
Informant himself went And took hold of the Cord which
was on his Wrist in Order to Pull him out But Let it
go, again And Then with the Help of another Person
got hold of his HandThat he seemed unwilling
to be pulled out (Informant thinks he was afraid of
his being Pushed in again) his Eyes being then both
Closed upThat Informant Let him go
A Man Came up to Informant and Said Your Name is
Clarke And his Name is Clarke And Ill Put You in
for Your Name sake And Attempted to Push in Informt.
That the Deceased Cryed for Gods sake to Let him out
Spokeforvery ThickThat his Head and Shoulders
were all over BloodThat the Man who told
Informant his Name was Clarke was behind Informant
And therefore he says he does not Know who He was
That afterwardsInformant(as the Deceased Attempted
to get Out) Informant Saw a Man in his Shirt without
Coat or Waistcoat Put his Foot against his Head or
Shoulders and Stove to Push him under the Water
But the Deceased still Kept his Legs and only Bent down
Saith he was at that time on the Other side the Pit
And cannot tell who that Man was in the Shirt
That then Informant went wound to the Deceased and
Askd' the Mob whether if Informant Pulled him out
they woud' Push him in again And Some Said No and
Some said Yes But Informant Said Betide my Life
or Betide my Death I will Pull him Out And with
the Assistance of the Person who help'd to get him Out
before And one Other Person Informant Pulled him out
