The Information of Adam Owen< no role > and
Jeremiah Crump< no role > and John McEvey< no role >
taken before me One of his Majesty's
Justices of the Peace for the said County

Who severally being upon Oath say And
first this Informant Adam Owen< no role > for himself
saith that he came to London by the Hereford
Waggon this Day four Weeks about three o'Clock
in the afternoon & she saw a person now present
who calls himself Thomas Dale< no role > in the Street near
the Inn Yard the said Thomas Dale< no role > told this
informant he would call upon him the next
Day & shew him the Town and accordingly the
sd. Thos. Dale< no role > called upon him at the Wm. abt
9' o Clock the Next Morning and took him outsaith
himwho pretendedand they called & Drank together
at a public House [..] then Dale took him to another
Public House near the Pawn brokers where he
afterwards found his Watch but being a Stranger
does not know the Name of the Place And the
said Thomas Dale< no role > & this Informant went
into a private Room by themselves and in about
a Minutes time another Person now Present
who calls himself Wm. Godfrey< no role > & also another
Person Whose Name this Informant does not know
came into the Room to them & the Unknown
Person departed in abt. four Minutes & left this
Informant with the other two and Thos. Dale
asked this Informant. to let him see his Watch
upon which he Immediately Pulled out his
Watch & delivered it to him this Informant then
pulled out of his pocket a half Guinea which he
delivered to Wm. Godfrey to pay for the Liquor
Wm. Godfrey then Went out of the Room and
called this Informt. out and he left the Watch
with Dale And the said Wm. Godfrey desired
