this Informant to come along with him and he took
him a Considerable Distance from the Public House
where he had left Dale & then told him to stay there
till he came to him And this Informant relayed
there about a Quarter of an hour, but the send Wm
Godfrey never returned to him again nor did he see
him afterwards till Yesterday when he was Apprehended
nor did this Informant ever see Dale till Yesterday
when he was also apprehended This informant
further saith that a Watch now produced is the
Property of this Informant & taken from him as
before described And further saith that it being
pretended by the said Thos. Dale< no role > & Wm Godfrey< no role >
thatthe saidhe last the said Watch & half
Guinea by hiding under the Hatt, saith that
there was no Game ofUnderhiding Under the Hatt
or any other Game Carried on during the time this
Informt was in Company with the said Dale &
Godfrey or with the said other person Unknown
And this Informant Jeremiah Cunnp [..] for
himself saith thatonthe Next Day after the other
infomt. Adam Owen< no role > came to Town he met with
him & seemed to him almost Destracted and he
took him to the Swan Inn at Holborn Bridge and
then the said Adam Owen< no role > gavetold this Informt
what had happened to him touching the loss of his
Watch & half Guinea and saith that the Account
he then Gave agreed with the above Informatn
And saith that in the Examination the said
Tho. Dale< no role > & Wm. Godfrey< no role > bothMutually Charge
each other with giving the Watch to the person
who Pawned it but agree to the Sharing of the,
Money together And this Informant John
Mec Evey for himself saith that on Saturday the
29th. Day of Decemr. last then Watch now Produced
was Pawned with him in the Name of Peter
De Buck
