Middlesex To wit

The Information of Martha Clare< no role > the younger
taken before me this 16th. day of October 1769

Who being upon Oath says that on Monday Morning the 4th. of January
1768 about one o'Clock a Number of Persons armed with Cutlasses a
Pistol and other offensive Weapons Knocked at the Door of the house
where this Informant lived with her father and Mother at Stepney
that she this Informant opened the door and let them in after they had
used many threatening Expressions, that about five or six of the said
armed Persons came up Stairs and wilfully and maliciously cutand
broke and destroyed four Looms and other Jackle and Atenside used
in and for the weaving and making of of Silk Trimmings and other
Silk Goods and further says that Peter Perrin< no role > This name instance is in set 29103696. Cornelius Cavalier< no role > This name instance is in set 3671.
and Thomas Cross< no role > are three of the Said persons who so cutand
broke and destroyed the said Loom Tackle and Utensils the
property of this Informant's father John Clare< no role > , and farther
says that the said Cornelius Cavalier< no role > broke a Looking
Glass with his Pistol at the Time above mentioned
