one of his Majesty's Justices of the Peace for the Said County this 1st Day of September 1769 at Islington

This Deponent on this Oath Saith that at the last Election for a Knight of a Shire for the said County
at Brentford . he became Acquainted with Solomon Wood< no role > Joseph Herbert< no role > and Thomas Wooley< no role > that
they first began Picking of Pockets, and Since which Time they have Committed Several Burglarys
and Felonys that this Deponent, about two Months Ago in Company with Thomas Wooley< no role > and James Bowlings Broke into a House in Princes Street Barbican
and Stole thereout three pair of Stockings three Shirts two pair of Light Grey Stockings one Flowered
Cotton Gown two Neck Cloths four Handkerchiefs, that about three Months ago the this Deponent in Company
With James Rowlins< no role > Got over a Palisade into a Yard belonging to a House in Golden Lane in the Parish
of St Luke and Stole there out one pair of Boots a Pewter Dish and a Wash hand Bason that about
Six Weeks Since the this Deponent and James Rowlins< no role > Broke into the House of Mrs Young in Sharps
Fields Hoxton and Stole thereout one Linnen Gown and 3 Pair of Stockings that on the 28th day
of July Last He this Deponent and the above James Rowlins< no role > Broke into the House of John William< no role >
in Sharps Fields No. 8 and Stole thereout one Silk Handkerchief 5 pair of Stockings a piece of become
and some Bread and a Check a proper the property of James Harrison< no role > That he this Deponent in
Company with Soloman Wood now in Custody did on the 20th. Day of August Last Break
into the House of Mr John Gawen Shoe maker in Islington and Stole thereout two Shirts two
White aprons a pair of Silver Plated Buckles 4 Silver Tea Spoons 3 Cloaks 2 Red and one black
one Mans Hatt and one pair of Shift Steeves Part of Which Goods they afterwards Carried to one

this Deponent in Company with Soloman Wood< no role > did on Monday the 28th. of August Last
Break into a House in Twitztes Alley Bunhill Row & Stole Six Check Aprons four Shirt one Shiped
Waist coat a Childs Jamm and a Mans Hatt that also he this Deponent did on the 28th. day of
July aforesaid Break into the House of Mr Batch at No 1 in Sharps Fields in Company with James
Rowlins

Shoes and Buckles and that on Thursday the 31st day of August Last the this Deponent and
Solomon Wood< no role > Got over the Wall Leading to the Dwelling House of Mr John Tarrett Opposite
the Hare at Hexton and took out a pane of Glass belonging to the Washhouse adjoining and
belonging to the said Dwelling house and Stole thereout a pair of hand Vices a pair of hippers
two pair of Compasses one four foat Rule two Chissells and a Mans Hat & Less another in its Room
