The Information of Hugh Temple< no role > taken before me
this 26. day of July 1769

Who being Oath Says that he knows William Litch< no role > field, Joseph
Stack house and Joseph Posnett< no role > who are all common Thieves, says that on Saturday
Morning last about one or two o'Clock the said Willim Litch field and this
Informant robbed some Gentleman and Ladies in two Coaches near Bays-
-water of some Money and a Gold repeating Watch which Watch this Informant
left in the Care of the said William Litchfield< no role > , says that on Thursday Night
last the said William Litchfield< no role > and this Informant robbed a Gentleman
and two Ladies on this Side the Alms houses on the Clapham Road of a Guinea
and Six pence and Some other Money that one of the said Ladies begged they
would Spare her King which they did, that the same Night the Said
William Litchfield< no role > and this Informant robbes two Men with a Cart near
Clapham, that on Monday Night the 17th. of July Instant the said William
Litchfield
< no role > the said Joseph Stackhouse< no role > and this Informant [..]
Stopped two Women & two Men in the Bishop's Walk Lambatt on first took
Men they robbed of a Silver Watch, that on the Saturday Night preceding
the said Robbery the Said Joseph Stackhouse< no role > the said William Litchfield< no role >
and this Informant robbed a Man in a Cart near Paddington of a Silver
Watch and Some Money which Watch the said Joseph Stack house
carried to parson at Mr Tripp's in St. Martin's Lane , that one Night
about a fortnight ago the Said William Litchfield< no role > and this Informant
stopped three Post Chaises on the Wand Sworth Road, that they robbed the
Post Boy belonging to one of the said Chaises of a Silver Watch which they
afterwards sold to a Stranger and that they likewise robbed a Lady in the Said
Chaises of eighteen pence and a Silver Thimble, that they robbed a Gentleman
in another of the said Chaises of six Shillings and told him they were Soldiers
that they robbed the Post Boy belonging to the other Chaise of Some Money
that about a fortnight ago the Said William Litchfields and this Informant
robbed two Gentleman near the Cow and Calves near Little Chelsea of
some Money and Some Medals which Medals they threes away,
