of Decr. 1763

Who being upon Oath says that he Knows Thos. Turner< no role >
Thomas Holt< no role > , Jonathan Bazwell< no role > & Isaiah Haines< no role > all
Soldiers in Colonel Triants Company in the first Regiment
of Foot Guards. says that he in Company with said
Buzwell about Eight Weeks agoe Stole a Sheet of Lead from
off Lady Beauclerk's House and carried the same in a Sack to the
Alehouse in Fountain Court where they Knockt up the Beg
who let them in, says that they being then upon Guard they
pulled off their [..] Accoutrement, put the Lead in
a Coach and carried it to the House of Thomas Heartell< no role >
a Smith and Soldier in Cold Bath Fields , says it was
then about seven o'Clock in the Morning and that sd.
Hartell got up and recd the same and paid them a
penny a pound for it, says said Heartell is a Soldier
in Coll Hudson's Comp: in the aforesd Regt. says that some
time after this, he said Bazwell and Haines stript some
Lead from off the Dutch Chapel in the Savoy which
they carried to sd. Hartell who bought the same at
the same price, says they Told said Heartell they got
the Lead from off the Church, to which he replied that
he knew the Church very well, says after this, he & said
Bazwell Stole a Parcell of Lead from off the Barrocks
and that Haines went with them to Heartell's to Sell it
says that after this, Turner, HainesandBazwell, & himself
carried a large Quantity of Sheet Lead to the aforesaid
Heartell's who gave them a penny a pound for the
same, says he never was concerned [..] in any Robbery
himself with the aforesaid Holt but verily
believes
