the near Wheel (as the Cart was moving along)
[..] went into a rat in the Road and gave ye
Cart a violent Shake which tumbled the deceased
to the Ground at first Deponent thought
Deceased had jumpt off but was soon conceived
he had fallen off by the Shake as he
appeared quite stunned & lay with his
hand under his Shoulder and did not move
The Carter instantly Stopped the Horses &
with Deponents Assistance took ye deceased
up who could speak but said he had no
use of his Legs. they took him to the
Cart where he complained of his Bark
being much but & was brought HomeSaith That he died
on Thursday Morning [mark]
