London Depositions of Witnesses taken at London that is to
say at the parish of Saint Sepulchre in the Ward
of Farringdon without in London aforesaid this
28th. day of December 1797 on view of the body
of William Nixon< no role > now here lying Dead.

Philip Parry< no role > Pryce Myddelton< no role > a Prisoner in His Majestys Gaol of
Newgate maketh oath that he hath known the deced William Nixon< no role >
about eight weeks by Depts being in the same part of the Gaol
That the deced appeared very ill when he first came Gas to the
Gaol-Depts apprehends the deced disorder to be a total decay
of the Coats of the Stomach-That the deced recovered some what
from his disorder until within a few days preceding the
last Session when his disorder got went again and increased
daily until Tuesday Evening last when he departed this Life
That the deced was attended part of the time by the Surgeon of the
Gaol and Doctor Letsom saw the deced twice or three times
Dept. says he himself is a Physician and attended the deced
in that capacity during his illness.

Catherine Sheppard< no role > Wo. of No. 28 Cock Lane< no role > maketh oath
that she hath attended the deced as a Nurse about five Weeks during
which time the deced has been very ill and continued to get worse
daily until Tuesday Evening last when he departed this Life
that the deced was so ill as to keep to his Bed the three or four days
previous to his Death.
