SmithsBoy asked for some Beer-smith told him to put his
Jacket in which he did Smith then took him an his Back
& carried him out of the House-that Smiths Boy appeared
in a stupid took & when he first event up the Chimney
appeared an well

William Cleveland< no role > of Dowgate Hill Surgeon maketh oath
that he has seen the deced this Evening and examined-that he
pawne wound upon the back part of the Head about two Inches & half
in length and penetrated to the back part of the Scull-another
small wound on the right side of the Head-Dept. cant at all say
from the wounds might be received [..] that the Scull was not
injured-Dept. can't take upon himself to say that either of those
wounds would occasioned the deceds Death but Dept. rather
believes those Wounds could not occasion the deceds Death-

James Turchell< no role > of the Kings head alehouse in Queen Street
Cheapside maketh oath and saith that about nine or ten days
ago Mr Smith and a little boy came to sweep the Chimney of had
room in Dept. house-Says the boy went up the Chimney & Smith
continued in the room half an hour as dept believes & hallso'e several
times after she had for him to come doneThat the lad being missed from
the Chimney Smith his Master went on the top of the house & some short
time after as dept understood & believes the lad was found to be in a
Chimney adgg Dept. Chimney-that same time after the boy was coming
into the Tap room, & he appeared to be [..] & cold & he attempted to so
near the fire but his master world not be him-Says the boy in other
