Informations of Witnesses taken at the
parish of Saint Sepulchre in the ward of
Farringdon without in London aforesaid
on the 7th day of April 1792 on view of
the Body of an Infant Child unknown

William May< no role > Apprentice to Thomas Dalby< no role > of Brooke
Market in the County of Middx Butcher maketh Oath that
about ½ part one OClock in the afternoon of Thursday last Dept.
passing by the House of one Creswell a Chandlers shop in
Beachamp Street< no role > near Brooks Market aforesaid he saw
the something falling from the Window of the two pair of their
front Room of said Creswells House & and before it had fell
to the Ground he perceived it to be a Child that it fell with
the side of its head upon the curb stone of the foot pavement
Fonting said House-Dept went to the Child that it bled very
much at the side of its head and appeared a burnt dead Dept
took the Child up and a Woman who appeared to be the
Mother of the Child just then coming out of the Door afraid
Creswells House took the Child from Dept. that she appeared
very anxious about the Child that Dept. went the same
afternoon to Bartholomews Hospital where he understood the
deced was taken to and there saw the Child lying Dead in
one of the Rooms of the Hospital.
