Informations of witnesses
taken at the parish of Saint Andrew
Hobborn in the ward of Farringdon
without in London aforesaid on the
3d day of april 1792 on view of the Body
of Ann Hickman< no role > now here lying deced.

Philip Bowden< no role > Brass founder and Lodger at No. 16
Shoe Lane London maketh Oath that he hath Known the
deced Ann Hickman< no role > about three Yearsthat she lodged at
No. 36 in shoe Lane aforesaid in which [..] Dept. has
worked [..] for some time past that she appeared to he an aged
Woman about Fifty Five Years of age that she Dept. a school
For Young Children for some time part that Dept. saw her about
a Week ago-that about eight o clock in the Morning of Yesterday
Dept. at the request of his master Mr. John Mason< no role > of Mr. 35 shoe
Lane aforesaid Brass founder got out of his said Masters Dining
Room Widow and Pass [..] long the Lands to the [..] Window
of the Room wherein the deced lodged No. 36 aforesaid to look
for the deced that [..] upon opening one of the Windows of the
deceds Room and looking in he saw the deced hanging by an
[..] something white which appeared to he fastened to a small
hook in the Wainscot of the Room near the firesidethat she
appeared to be quite deadthat Dept. informed his Masters
Apprentice and a Woman Serjant of his Masters who
were looking and of the Room Window of the deced being
hangingthat Dept. went from his Master house to the
deced's Room and on going up to her Room he found
some persons there and that the deced was as down [..]
[..] and was lying on her bedthat she was quite dead

Ann Rider< no role > of No. 74 shod Lane aforesaid Spinster maketh
Oath that she hath known the deced about twelve Years that
she was a Customer of Depts. in her business and also an aquaint-
-ance-that she has appeared for some time part very dull
and melanchely very low spirited and on Dept. asking her
the reason she has burst and a crying-and has told Dept.
the season of her being low spirited and melanchely was owing
to her being in distressed circumstancesthat her ten had had
so
