Informations of Witnesses taken at
the parish of Saint Olave within the
Borough of Southwark in the County of
Surrey the 8 June 1792 on view of the
body of John Burbank< no role > then and there
lying dead.

John Burbank< no role > the Yr. of the Bridge Yard in the parish
of Saint Olave Southwark maketh oath that yesterday morg.
Dept found his father the deced in an adjoining room to that
wherein he slept lying upon the floor without his cloaths.
That he appeared lifeless. The dept observed a piece of small
cord fastened to the lester of the bed, and another piece of
cord was picked up by the Servant off the floor. That assistance
was sent for, & came, but proved ineffectual.

Ann Gilderson< no role > late Servant to the deced maketh oath
that yesterday morning Dept with the last Witness found the
deced in a room adjoining his bed room lying upon the floor
undressed. That afterwards she observed a small piece of cord
fastened to the lester of the bed, and another piece was lying
upon the floor so that Dept apprehends the deced had hanged
himself. Says the deced washanged deceddead.That for
some time past the deced has been exceeds. low spirited and
dejected.
