An Inquisition indented taken for our Sovereign Lord the King at London that is to
say at the Parish of Saint Mugrew the Martyr on the Ward of Bridge in London aforesaid on the
twenty Ninth day of April in the thirty first year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George
the third by the Grace of God of Great Britain France and Ireland King defender of the Faith Etc.
before Thomas Shelton< no role > Gentleman Corner from said Lord the King for the City of London and
Borough of Southwark on view of the Body of John Glasscock< no role > now here lying dead by the
oath of Crattale Piece< no role > William Webb< no role > William Howes< no role > Andrew David< no role > James Bedard< no role >
John Gillett< no role > William Chapton< no role > John Biggs< no role > [..] Robert Saughter Thomas
Cole John Reilly Charles Piney and Robert Beverley< no role > good and lawful Men of the and
City who being now here duly chosen sworn and charged to inquire for our said Lord the
King when how and in what manner the said John Glasscock< no role > came to his death say upon
their Oath that the said John Glass< no role > cock on the twenty Eighth day of April in the Year
aforesaid accidentally casually and by Misfortune did fall into the River Thames and
in and with the Waters of the said River was Suffocated and drowned publish said
suffocation and Drowning he the said John Glasscock< no role > did then and there Die and
so the Jurors aforesaid upon their Oath aforesaid do say that the said John Glass< no role > cock
in manner and by the means aforesaid accidentally casually and by Misfortune
was suffocated and Drowned In Witness where of the as well the said Coroner
as the said Cruttalk Pierce< no role > the Foreman of the said Jurors on Behalf of himself
and the Rest of his fellows have hereunto not their Hands and Seals the day year
and Place first above written
