Informations of Witnesses taken at the parish of Christ
Church in the ward of Farringdon within in London
aforesaid on the 14th. day of March 1791 on view of the
Body of John Drayton< no role > then and there lying dead.

Thomas Brown< no role > a Prisoner in His Majestys Gaol of Newgate who being
on Oath saith that he hath known the deceased who was also a Prisoner
in the said Gaol for these Eleven months last past that he hath been
in the Sick Ward where this Deponent attends as Wardsman Since
the Twenty sixth of January last ill with a Malignant fever that
he continued so ill untill the Eleventh of this Instant March when
he did that he was regularly attended by the apothecary of the said Gaol
and that the fever aforesaid was the Cause of his death.
