observed the deced for their twelve Months past
to appear at times very Childish and as if
he was deranged in his Sences often talking
to himself That he really believes the deced
has not for this last twelve Month been in
his proper Sences

Sworn the 28th day of
October 1788 before me}

Joseph Fellows< no role > of two Swan Yard Bishops-
gate Street Gunmaker maketh Oath and
Saith that he was spending the Evening at the
Britannia the House where deced lived that
about ½ part ten he heard somebody up
Stairs Shriek out that one Mr. Godfrey
and William Woodcock< no role > , the deceds Son in Law,
and this Dept went up Stairs that said
Mr. Godfrey took up a Light with him that
when the came to the two pair Stairs Room
of said House on going into the Room they
found the deced hanging by a bit of Cord to
an Iron Hook in the Wall of said Room
that said Woodcock and Dept. lifted the
deced up the Cord then fell of the Hook
& then they lifted the deced into a Chair
[..] by that a Surgeon who had been sent
for came and tried to bleed the deced but
no Blood came from him that the deced
was put to Bed but never Recovered
That he has known the deced near twenty
Years That he has observed the deced for
near this two Years past appear very
Melancholy and dull that the Dept has
often spoke when he has been that was
but the deced has never answd. when
spoke

to and many other things the deced has
done induces this Dept: to believes that
the deced was not in Sences
