Memorandum It is Agreed upon This
Twenty third day of August in the Year of our Lord
One Thousand Seven hundred and sixty five Between
John Hayden< no role > and William Lem< no role > Church Wardens of
the Parish of Saint Dionis Back church London and
Peter Pope< no role > Richard James< no role > , Francis Seech< no role > , and
William Kippax< no role > Overseers of the Poor of the said Parish
of the one part and Richard Birch< no role > of Rose Lane
Spittle Fields in the Parish of Christ Church in the
County of Middlesex [..] of the Parish Workhouse
of the other part as follows.

Whereas the Church Wardens and Overseers of the Poor above named
duly weighing and considering the present dearness and high price of
Provisions Have and by the Presents Do Agree to pay and allow to
the above named Richard Birch< no role > at and after the rate of Three Shillings
and six pence per Week for the Provision and maintainance of every
Poor Man or Women belonging to the Parish that now are or shall during
the continuance of this Agreement be sent by them to the said
Parish Workhouse without any Additional Sum or allowance to be made
for a Lunatic In tied and satisfaction of the Weekly Allowance stipulated
and agreed to the paid and allowed for such Men or Women by the within
Agreement.

And the said Church Wardens and Overseers Have And by these
Presents Do also agree to pay and allow to the said Richard Birch< no role > At
and after the rate of Three Shillings per Week for every Poor Child
belonging to the Parish that now are or shall during the continuance
of this Agreement to sent by them to the said Parish Workhouse in
hen and satisfaction of the weekly Allowance stipulated and agreed to
by said and allowed for every such poor Child in and by the said
Agreement within written.

That the Sick shall be kept separate as be also within mencond
That the Extra Allowance of one Shilling, per week [..] before
paid and Allowed to the said Richard Birch< no role > for every [..]
[..] per shall from hence forth cease and the saint shall for the
put in be paid to such Poor housekeeper themselves

And the said Richard Birch< no role > Doth hereby agree with the
said Church Wardens and Overseers to receuve provide for and
maintain All the Poor belonging to this Parish upon the Terms
abovemencond for one whole year certain to commence from the
First day of November on next ensuing and determinable afterwards
on three months notice or Warning in writing to be given or left on
other side

And the said Church Wardens and Overseers and the said Richard
Birch Do hereby ratify and confirm the within Agreement in every
other respect as to the Covenants Agreements the reinmencond
and containd In Witness whereof the said Parties to these Presents
Have hereunto inter chargeably set this Hand and seals the day
and Year abovewritten
