To the Church Wardens and. Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Giles
Without Cripplegate London, and the
Church Wardens and Overseers of. the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Diones
backchurch in the said City
and to every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto us, two
of His Majesty's Justice of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties, thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Oveseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Giles
London, That Jeremiah Alford< no role > and Elizabeth< no role >
his Wife have
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtained
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the sd Jeremiah< no role > as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true: and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Jeremiah< no role >
to be in the said Parish of Saint Dionis
and that thitherto they ought by Law to be Sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Giles
London, Sorthwith to remove and Convey the said Jeremiah< no role >
and his said Wife
from and out of our said Parish, unto the said Parish of
Saint Dionis backchurch
And them deliver unto the Church Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this 21 Day of Jany One Thousand
